PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

We have come to the end of Semester 1 and students’ report cards will be posted home by next Friday. I trust that our students’ hard work will be reflected on their grades and I wish all students continuous success. Taking this opportunity, I would like to welcome Mrs Tracy Jaap, the Foundation class replacement teacher, as Mrs Stacey Koktas will be on maternity leave during the 2nd Semester.

During holidays, I would like to suggest the followings for the betterment of the students:

• Reflect on the semester report and set goals for Semester 2.
• Read for 15 minutes with your child daily before bed.
• Emphasize the importance of general personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Make sure the students consume healthy food and do regular exercises.

In the next term and onwards, I would like to request your cooperation with regards to the following items:

• Make sure that your child comes to school with correct uniform.
• Monday morning assemblies will be held at 8:50 am and students should be at school before 8:50 am.
• We request all the parents to respond to school emails/letters/SMS in a timely manner.
• We are planning to offer after-school Study Club to the students who need extra support in Term 3. If you would like to volunteer for this program or other programs, please contact the school office.

I would like to wish you a ‘Happy Eid’ and I am looking forward to meeting you on the first day of the next term, July 17th, 2017.
